Athens to Dubrovnik
Athens - Corinth Canal - Kefalonia - Ithaca - Paxos - Corfu - Saranda For Butrint - Budva - Kotor - Dubrovnik
A ‘road trip by sea’ including the Corinth Canal and stunning Adriatic, visiting Greek islands, Albania, Montenegro and Croatia. It’s a reversing cruise that sails northbound one week and southbound the next.
Your vessel: The Motor Sailor Panorama is a beautiful blue three-master that sails under canvas whenever conditions allow. With only 24 cabins she’s small enough to get you up close and personal with even the smallest waterfront tavernas. With no more than 49 guests, who all sit down to eat together, it’s a great way to make new friends. There is no swimming pool – when it’s time to cool off the Captain heaves-to in a secluded bay and we swim in the sea.

Itinerary: NB – if joining in Dubrovnik, please read in reverse.
Embark Marina Zeas in Athens for welcome drinks whilst we head towards the Corinth Canal for a late afternoon transit. Welcome dinner on board en route to Kefalonia.
Captain Corelli’s Mandolin established Kefalonia as a tourist hotspot – and rightly so, it’s beautiful. Later we sail to Ithaca, legendary home of Odysseus to overnight in Vathy, famous for its Ionian buildings.
A morning swim off Antipaxos before an afternoon arrival at Paxos. There’s a lovely, chilled vibe about the many restaurants and tavernas around the main square and the harbour. Overnight in port.
Much loved by the British, Corfu is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. The lovely town is great for shopping, or take the optional tour to discover the Byzantine churches and pretty Corfiot villages.
Inaccessible for years in Albania, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Butrint is one of the most spectacular but least known sites in the Med. It’s a short trip from Saranda harbour, don’t miss it.
Today Montenegro, firstly the wonderfully preserved medieval Venetian town of Budva, then a beautiful cruise down the gulf of Kotor, to the cobbled streets and quaint squares of Kotor town.
Optional Kotor sightseeing before we set course for Dubrovnik. We overnight here, so there is plenty of chance to explore the wonderful walled town – great for people watching and shopping.
Disembarkation after breakfast for onward journey.
Discover a 3 masted Motorsailer which can accommodate up to 49 passengers in 24 cabins.
